Back-End Project

For self-learning, I scoured Upwork, a website designed to bring workers and employers together, and was accepted to work on a project. A Back-End Project.

Here is a quick walk through of my Back-End Program. Enjoy...

Here I describe the steps I take in this video:

  1. I initiate the Clean Up Program. The program recursively goes through all of the files in the database to include JSON, Excel, and CSV type files. It searches for any emails that are duplicated more than once in the same file or across multiple files. It deletes those rows from the original files after combining the rows of duplicate emails into one file.

  2. Next, I initiate the Column Header Program. This part of the program searches for all of the column headers in all of the files, then puts them in a single file for later use.

  3. Finally, I show how you can use the Search and Save Program by using the filters. The Queries option is similar as well, however it finds every row that has the query in it, not just a specific column.

  4. I also go through the Manual I created to take a user step-by-step in the process to download the needed software and to use each part of the program.
